Sarah M. MacKimm

Sarah M. MacKimm joined the firm as an associate in 2020 and became a partner in 2023. She practices primarily in the area of insurance coverage and bad faith.

Prior to joining the firm, Sarah practiced in automobile liability defense, representing insureds in claims involving bodily injury and property damage. She also previously practiced in local government law, drafting ordinances and representing local governments in zoning litigation.

Sarah attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in English Education and graduated summa cum laude in 2012.  She continued on to the University of Mississippi, where she earned her J.D. and graduated cum laude in 2016.  Sarah is a member of the Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, as well as all Georgia trial and appellate courts.

Sarah resides with her husband in Decatur.
