Laura M. Forrest joined Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins LLP as a Partner in 2026. Laura is an experienced litigator with more than 27 years of practice representing insurers and clients in complex insurance coverage, insurance defense, construction, and civil litigation matters. A Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP), Laura has extensive trial experience and is a recognized speaker on insurance industry topics. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell Law School, where she teaches Legal Research and Writing, combining her deep litigation experience with a passion for mentoring the next generation of attorneys.
Outside the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, Scout, practicing Taekwondo, she is a second degree black belt and exploring the outdoors. She is also dedicated to serving her community through her work with Purple Heart Homes, Inc. and the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys.
