Wade McGuffey joined Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins LLP as a partner in 2026. He is part of the firm’s multi-state workers’ compensation practice and brings more than 35 years of experience representing insurance companies, employers, and commercial clients in workers’ compensation matters, insurance coverage disputes, employment law issues, occupational disease and illness litigation, and general civil defense litigation.
Wade is widely recognized for his extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation law and his long-standing leadership within the legal and insurance communities. He regularly advises clients on complex claims management, litigation strategy, employment-related issues, and insurance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
In addition to his litigation practice, Wade is a certified mediator and a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation, disability discrimination, ethics, personnel law, OSHA compliance, and related legal topics. He served as an instructor for the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation Certified Workers’ Compensation Program from its inception in 2009 through 2016 and also taught in the Georgia State Board of Workers’Compensation Adjusters Training Course.
Wade has been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as a Georgia Super Lawyer since 2004 and received the 2025 Dr. Tom S. Howell Memorial Award from the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation Chairman’s Advisory Council.
