Richard Bruno joined the firm in 2013 as an associate. His practice primarily focuses on defense of insureds in the trucking, premises, aviation, and construction arenas. He also assists the partners in the areas of commercial contract disputes, real estate litigation, and vehicle dealership cases.
Mr. Bruno was born and raised in Roswell, Georgia. He received a B.A. in Economics and History from Washington & Lee University, cum laude, in 2006. He returned to Washington & Lee University School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2011. During law school, Mr. Bruno served as the Executive Editor of W&L Law’s international and transnational law journal and the Class President. He also interned in a Virginia Public Defender office and the City of Roanoke Circuit Court as a clerk.
