Tameika Jackson joined the firm as an Associate in 2023 and focuses her practice on tort litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Senior Trial Attorney at another insurance carrier where she mainly practiced insurance defense from 2019 through 2023. Prior to relocating to Georgia, Ms. Jackson was an Assistant Public Defender in Florida from 2008 through 2017, and then joined the Fulton County Public Defender’s office as an Assistant Public Defender from 2017 through 2019. She has experience across all stages of litigation, from pre-suit through trial.
Ms. Jackson was born in Jamaica and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. She attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/English Literature in 2002. She went on to earn her J.D. from Barry University School of Law where she graduated in 2006. She is a Board Member and Governance Committee Chair of The Pave Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization. She is also a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and Georgia Association of Black Women Lawyers (GABWA).
Outside of the office, Ms. Jackson enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, exploring different parks in the Atlanta area, and trying out new recipes.
