Michelle Sherman joined the firm in 2012 as an associate. Ms. Sherman’s practice focuses primarily in the area of insurance coverage, analysis, and litigation. She counsels and represents insurers on a nationwide basis in insurance coverage and bad faith matters in federal and state courts. Ms. Sherman has experience with a wide variety of first-party and third-party insurance coverage issues arising from commercial property, general liability, homeowners, and jewelers block policies, including coverage for construction accidents, construction defects, environmental damage, defective products, mold, property damage, and business interruption. Ms. Sherman has presented numerous lectures on property insurance coverage issues to insurance industry personnel throughout the country.
Ms. Sherman attended the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish in 2005. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2011. Ms. Sherman was named a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. She is fluent in Spanish.
