October 22, 2009 - Curtis J. Martin II elected to the position of 2010 President-Elect of the Gate City Bar Association. Founded in 1948, the Gate City Bar Association is Georgia's oldest African American Bar Association and is an affiliate chapter of the National Bar Association.

September, 2009 - Curtis J. Martin II recognized by the Atlanta Business Journal as one of Atlanta's 40 Rising Stars.

September, 2009 - Christopher E. Parker named to the 2009 Legal Elite by Georgia Trend magazine.

May 1, 2009 - Curtis J. Martin II served as a panelist for the Law Day Program at Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower proclaimed May 1 as Law Day in the United States as a "day of national dedication to the principle of government under law." Law Day serves as an opportunity for citizens to reflect upon the importance of the law in our society.  

April 30, 2009 - Curtis J. Martin II selected to the 2009 edition of Who's Who in Black Atlanta. Each year Who's Who in Black Atlanta recognizes Atlanta's most influential African American leaders in various industries and civic organizations.

April 10, 2009 - Larry Domenico was a featured presenter at the Spring Education Conference of the Georgia Association of Business Brokers. Larry spoke on the topic of "Protecting Your Commissions." Curtis Martin and Megan Boyd assisted in preparing the presentation.

March 20, 2009 - Christopher Parker will be a panelist on the topic of defense strategies in wage/hour litigation as part of the 5th Annual Advanced Employment Law Conference developed by the Labor & Employment Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and supported by the Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

March 16, 2009 - Kristen M. Kelley and Megan E. Boyd attended the 18th Annual Hope Fashion Show hosted by the American Cancer Society Auxiliary. Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins, LLP was a “Posh Sponsor” of the event which was held at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. The fashion show was presented by Belk and featured both professional and local celebrity models. The event also included silent and live auctions. The featured speaker this year at the Hope Fashion Show was Barbara Dooley, wife of longtime University of Georgia football coach and athletic director Vince Dooley and a cancer survivor.

February 27, 2009 - Super Lawyers magazine has named MF&L Partner John McKinley as a Rising Star™ marking him as a top Georgia lawyer under age 40. No more than 2.5% of Georgia lawyers can be named a Rising Star

February 16, 2009 - Christopher Parker is now serving as mediator and arbitrator in disputes involving employment law, trade secrets, restrictive covenants and business matters. Scheduling can be arranged through BAY Mediation and Arbitration Services, www.bayadr.com.

December 17, 2008 - Curtis J. Martin II elected as Vice President of the Gate City Bar Association.

November 25, 2008 - Lawrence B. Domenico is the featured professional affiliate in the Georgia Association of Business Brokers' newsletter, November issue. His tip for GABB members: "Make every effort to work out your disputes with clients or buyers or sellers before you consider litigation. If someone has broken their contract with you, I can help you, but litigation is expensive and it is slow. I don't think I have ever met a business person who regretted settling a dispute without going to court."

September 24, 2008 - Christopher Parker named Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Federal Bar Association.

September 24, 2008 - Christopher Parker named to the 2008 Georgia Super Lawyers list.

July 22, 2008 - Georgia Super Lawyers magazine named MF&L Partner Christopher Parker as one of the top attorneys in Georgia for 2008. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers magazine also named MF&L Partner Brian Duva as a Rising Star™ marking him as a top Georgia lawyer under age 40. No more than 2.5% of Georgia lawyers can be named a Rising Star.

June 19, 2008 - John L. McKinley, Jr. and Curtis J. Martin II obtained a defense verdict in a jury trial in Fulton County State Court. The plaintiff claimed that the defendant's tractor-trailer driver negligently caused a collision on the interstate, seriously injuring the plaintiff. Plaintiff, who was driving a passenger vehicle, claimed permanent spinal injuries and disability from the collision.

June 17, 2008 - Christopher Parker elected to the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association Board of Directors.

June 9, 2008 - Curtis J. Martin II served on the Executive Planning Committee of the Gate City Bar Association's Justice Robert Benham Law Camp. During the final week of the three week law camp, Mozley Finlayson & Loggins LLP hosted a high school intern from the program.

May 14, 2008 - Curtis J. Martin II was elected to the Board of Directors of Horizons Atlanta, which is a non-profit organization designed to provide an academic enrichment program to public school children from economically disadvantaged families.
