David F. Rock
David F. Rock has practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia for over 39 years. He has substantial experience in tax law, corporate law and business law. Following his graduation from the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Rock served as a Tax Law Specialist in the Rulings Division of the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Rock has had responsibility for major corporate acquisitions and reorganizations and for many years taught courses in corporate reorganizations for the Georgia Society of Public Accountants. He is a pioneer in mediation of tax controversies with the IRS and handled the first mediation with the IRS conducted in Atlanta, Georgia.
He has lectured to professional societies throughout the country and has authored numerous publications about Federal income tax law, employee stock ownership plans, qualified employee benefits, and corporate reorganizations.
