M. Andrew Riddle
Mr. Riddle joined the firm in 2001 following his clerkship with the Honorable S. Lark Ingram and became a Partner in the firm in 2007. An experienced litigator who continues to represent clients in litigation cases, particularly those related to intellectual property, Mr. Riddle’s current practice is devoted primarily to corporate transactional and estate planning matters. Mr. Riddle is experienced in representing both long established and start-up companies as their outside general counsel, assisting in matters that include corporate formation, organization and governance; contract formation and negotiation; mergers and acquisitions; and intellectual property. Mr. Riddle is also experienced in serving the estate planning needs of a broad range of clients from the preparation of simple wills and trusts to the preparation of complex estate tax planning instruments.
Mr. Riddle is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts throughout Georgia. He is privileged to serve on the Board of Directors of MUST, Inc., where he co-chairs the governance committee, and is a member of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Center Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Riddle has been a featured guest of the Sandy Springs Business Hour radio show where he discussed intellectual property issues that relate to small business owners.
Mr. Riddle was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 14, 1974. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a B.A. in 1996, and the Florida State University College of Law where he received a J.D. cum laude in 1999. During law school, Mr. Riddle served as the Executive Editor of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law and received a Public Service Fellowship for his work at the Georgia Legal Services Program in Atlanta, Georgia.
