Ruth M. Pawlak

Ms. Pawlak joined the firm in 2004 after nine years of practice representing the State of Georgia. Ms. Pawlak previously prosecuted misdemeanors for the Athens-Clarke County Solicitor General's Office, served as a superior court law clerk for Chief Judge C. Andrew Fuller of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, and handled habeas corpus cases and murder appeals for the Georgia Attorney General's Office. Ms. Pawlak's current practice includes insurance defense and general civil litigation.

Ms. Pawlak was born on August 6, 1970 in Marietta, Georgia. Ms. Pawlak received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia in 1992 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1995. While attending law school, Ms. Pawlak served on the board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and became a member of the Order of Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy. Ms. Pawlak is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and Texas. Ms. Pawlak is also admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
