Deborah Shelles Cameron
Deb Cameron joined the firm as a partner in 2007, after 13 years of private practice in commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Ms. Cameron’s practice includes all areas of business disputes and commercial litigation, as well as bankruptcy, products liability and insurance coverage and subrogation. Ms. Cameron has extensive experience with construction and real estate-related matters. She advises businesses and their principals on all aspects of business relationships from contract negotiation to settling disputes among parties, including alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Cameron was born in Coldwater, Michigan. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business. She received her J.D. cum laude from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 1994. She practiced law in Portland, Maine for nine years before moving to Georgia. Ms. Cameron is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Maine State Bar Association. She belongs to the Atlanta and American Bar Associations, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Lawyers’ Club of Atlanta. Ms. Cameron volunteers in several local organizations and is a member of the Dunwoody Rotary Club.
